Course in Applying Phenomenology

Course Description

The course in Applying Phenomenology will offer a comprehensive introduction to the history, theory and practice of applied phenomenological research. Starting with historical and philosophical foundations, we will be taking a concrete skills-based experiential learning approach, students will be guided through the process of 1. articulating phenomenologically researchable questions, 2. data collection and analysis towards generalizable results, 3. ethics, and 4. the phenomenology of empathy as it relates to the research and professional context.

The course in Applying Phenomenology will take place twice a month.

In order to participate in the course, registration fees are required. They will include online lectures, teaching materials, reading and discussion groups. Recordings of the course will be available but not uploaded on the PhenoLab YouTube Channel.
